DAN's Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) program prepares you to handle the kinds of multifaceted accidents that may occur. It's an easy and fast way to take four of DAN's core first-aid courses in one program.
What You Will Learn
The DEMP program prepares you to address multiple problems at once and with confidence. It combines the knowledge and skills from the following four courses into a single approach to managing diving emergencies: Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid, Neurological Assessment, Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries and First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries.
You will learn the content and skills of the four courses:
CPR & use of AEDs
Decompression illness and stroke
Respiration and circulation
Oxygen first aid for scuba diving injuries
Envenomations from marine life
Avoidance of marine life injuries
The Learning Materials You Need
The PADI Rescue Diver crewpak includes all materials required to complete the PADI Rescue Diver course – including a pocket mask. You'll learn how to think like a rescue diver and preview skills you'll practice with your PADI Instructor. Once your Rescue Diver course is complete, you can review the DVD to refresh your dive safety skills as needed. This tool box of knowledge and technique will give you the expertise to handle almost any emergency situation.

After completing your DAN DEMP Provider course you will be a better prepared diver. This course will also meet the CPR prerequisites for the PADI Rescue DIver program. DAN DEMP and Rescue DIver you are ready to move towards the PADI Master Scuba DIver Certification requirements or even PADI Divemaster for those looking to turn Pro.
